The Blake at New Braunfels is a 93,000 SF Assisted Living and Memory Care community, with 110 units located in New Braunfels, Texas. The sophisticated style of the exterior is highlighted by the interiors package that was carefully curated by our design team. Form, function, and the property’s location were all carefully considered when designing each element of this space. With inspiration coming from the rolling and rustic landscape of the Texas hill country, each space has its own timeless feel. Our design team drew inspiration from the city of San Antonio, the Texas Hill Country landscapes, the rich history of New Braunfels and the beauty of Texas wildflowers. These elements resulted in rich toned accents on a neutral light base with the materials palette including a mix of rustic woods, soft linens, rich fabrics and deep tones.
The balance of materials and thoughtfully placed furniture creates a comforting rhythm throughout the space. Wrought iron lights with glass accents, exposed wood beams and lacquered wood paneling contribute to the casual elegance and character of the interiors. Inviting lounge spaces, custom carpets and a curated art package lend to the warm residential aesthetic of this community. The American flag featured in the community’s Country Kitchen is a Naval Landing Craft Flag that was hand-crafted on Mare Island, the island where the two flags raised on Iwo Jima were created. These specialized design elements culminate in spaces that are as inviting as they are purposeful.
