Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Lead Interior Designer & Project Manager to oversee design projects from concept to completion. This dual role requires a balance of design leadership and project management expertise, ensuring that spaces are both aesthetically compelling and delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Design leadership: Develop innovative interior design concepts aligned with client vision, brand identity, and functional requirements.
Project management: Plan, coordinate, and execute projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
Client collaboration: Lead client meetings, present design proposals, and maintain strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Team coordination: Supervise junior designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
Technical documentation: Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and material boards for construction and installation.
Quality assurance: Conduct site visits, oversee installations, and ensure adherence to design intent and standards.
Vendor & contractor management: Source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage contractor relationships.
Trend & compliance awareness: Stay updated on design trends, sustainability practices, and building codes/regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
Experience: 7+ years of professional interior design experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/project management role.
Technical proficiency: Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
Leadership skills: Strong ability to mentor, delegate, and inspire design teams.
Communication: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and deliver creative, practical solutions.

Our leadership team is looking for an energetic individual with spark, passion, drive, and a keen skillset for managing clients and opportunities. This role will be interactive with the Business Development Team, Marketing Team, Studio Director and studio designers.
Primary responsibilities include generation of new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and keeping a pulse on client satisfaction. This role encompasses cultivating leads (digital and in person), presenting the company, being an advocate for new projects, writing proposals, as well as closing opportunities.
Role responsibilities also include maintaining and organizing leads on a CRM platform, reporting on pipeline, and analyzing of business won, lost, and in progress.
Qualifications:
5+ Years in developing new and growing existing customer relationships.
Exceptional communicator and teammate.
Ultimate brand advocate.
Self-motivated, a natural hustler by nature, with ideas for expanding into new markets / creating new revenue streams.
Proven history executing revenue results against goals.
Ability to generate leads through cold calls, emails, networking within new and existing customer environments to close business.
Strong capabilities in being a self-starter while closely collaborating with the studio and leadership teams.
Sharp attention to detail in composing client-facing deliverables, including proposals and marketing materials.
Comfortable reviewing and negotiating contracts.
Proficiency in setting design fees.
Understanding of Interior Design Process / Construction and Design Phases. Able to read architectural floor plans.
Existing Senior Living relationships preferred with developers and operators preferred
Some Marketing experience preferred, including proficiency with designing sales collateral (Adobe and Canva)
Job Description:
Business Development is the Company’s link to end users and potential clients throughout all market Segments. Ultimately, this position is responsible for reaching out to new clients through networking events, social media, conferences, digital media, and industry related marketing events. You will represent BD Studio Collection outside the studio and will often be potential client’s first introduction to our studio and services.
This role reports to Brittany Panachida, Director of Business Development. In this role, you will work closely with our BD Studio Collection business development leadership team and work collaboratively to exchange leads and opportunities within the portfolio.
Business Development Responsibilities:
Cultivate client leads – develop, target client criteria & pursue leads.
Attending market segment-oriented conferences and continuing education seminars.
Adhere to and help build business development budget.
Collaborate on creation of materials & collateral together with the marketing team.
Support & Maintain LinkedIn presence as BD Studio Collection
Business Role Responsibilities:
Writing proposals and creating fee estimates for projects.
Participate in big picture portfolio strategic planning & direction.
Be the best partner to Studio Director and supporting staff.
Nurture and maintain existing client relationships.
Drive leads and close new project deals for design & procurement work.
Project a positive, professional, and fostering leadership image as a representative of the company.
Track and report on sales goals quarterly and annually.
Work in tandem with BD Studio Collection business development leadership team to maintain CRM and client lead database.
Adhere to the business development guardrails for weekly success.
Attend and collaborate in weekly and monthly strategy planning meetings.
