Successful renovations begin by understanding member behavior, club culture, and long-term goals. Spaces should support current membership expectations while remaining relevant for years to come. ### How often should a country club renovate its interiors? Most clubs evaluate soft good updates every 5–7 years and more significant renovations every 10–15 years, depending on market competition and facility condition. ### Can a private club renovation be completed in phases? Yes. Phasing plans are created and coordinated with the general contractor, based on our drawings and scope. ### How can interior design help private clubs attract new members? Design influences member experience, first impressions, and the overall perception of the club. Modern, hospitality-driven environments can enhance recruitment and retention efforts. ### How can a club modernize without losing its history? The best clubs evolve thoughtfully. Historic character, local traditions, and club heritage can be preserved while introducing updated amenities, finishes, and functionality. ### What makes a private club feel timeless instead of trendy? Timeless clubs focus on quality materials, strong architectural foundations, thoughtful detailing, and authentic storytelling rather than short-lived design trends. ## About Banko Design Banko Design is a boutique commercial interior design studio in Marietta, Georgia, specializing in senior living, private club and multifamily communities.
