We are known for delivering thoughtfully designed environments that balance residential warmth with commercial performance: spaces that feel considered, timeless, and perform at every level. Our work goes beyond decoration, thoughtfully shaping the architecture of a space through planning, materiality, millwork, lighting, detailing, and FF&E to create environments that are as functional as they are beautiful. Our work is guided by experience, shaped by collaboration, and executed with a level of precision that ensures consistency from concept through final installation. It's a perspective that prioritizes the people who will live in the space every day, how it supports their routines, their comfort, and their sense of home. Our work is rooted in creating environments that are both highly functional and quietly refined, spaces that feel familiar, dignified, and enduring. While trends and outside perceptions may shift, we remain focused on what matters most: the lived experience of the resident. Because at the end of the day, that is who the environment is truly for, and who it is meant to serve. From refined updates to ground-up developments, we create interiors that feel considered, enduring, and appropriately tailored. We specialize in spaces that attract and retain members while remaining timeless, not trend-driven. Through a tailored approach to local context and disciplined investment, we shape environments that are both distinctive and lasting. Supporting strong lease-up, sustained occupancy, and a resident experience that remains consistently well received. I was so impressed by what she pulled off both in terms of the product, the timeliness, just the resource she was that I started using her for most of our interior design work thereafter.” Katherine Mosley, Partner, Tribridge Residential “They do a great job listening, but also asking the right questions. Pointed questions. They're not afraid to ask those questions and push back when needed… We really appreciate the fact that Banko Design pushes back when needed, and candidly does so. We appreciate that. Feels like more of a partnership.” Ashish Bagley, Manager, Tribridge Residential “If you know Melissa, she's just full of energy, but extremely smart. And I thought that her whole team follows that example. You know, just high energy, but extreme detail in each of their categories. The kids are really going to enjoy \[this renovation\]. It will not only be a great experience for the students, but also the teachers… and this is going to be a special place for them. No one has seen a pre-school like this… with the carpet and the lighting and the glass, there's whole sections just designated for imagination and exploring. All of it put together really makes for a cool experience.” Dana Ridenour, Assistant Head of School, Finance & Operations, Mt.
